Sparkly Candy Canes 🎄
Hi polished pals! Happy Holidays! Today I have some candy cane nail art. I am so pleased with how these turned out. I didn't have to redo any nails and the red polish didn't smear because I waited long enough before adding topcoat. Sometimes patience is not my virtue when finishing up my nails.
I cut up some pieces of Scotch tape, some wider and some thinner. Then, I used two coats of Painted Polish Drunk on Holo, waited for that to completely dry, placed the pieced of Scotch tape over my nails, and then I painted over a coat of Butter London Come to Bed Red. I also used a toothpick dipped in Drunk on Holo to correct any mistakes.
I love this red, but it stains my nails and I want the option to have unstained naked nails every once in awhile. If anyone knows of a non-staining red polish, please let me know!
